Sodepur Suzalam Society
Established in 2012 on 15th August, Sodepur Suzalam Society is a non-political and non-profit organization (Registration No- S0024518) based in Sodepur, a suburban city in Kolkata started its journey with the intention to work towards the betterment of society by providing various support services to the people of unprivileged backward sections. Since its incorporation, we have been actively involved in a wide range of activities aimed at improving the lives of people from all walks of life.
Our main mission is to empower underprivileged and marginalized communities and help them lead fulfilling lives. We work towards achieving this goal by undertaking various programs and initiatives to achieve our objectives, including organizing cultural events to find out and encourage the talents around us, educational campaigns such as distributing stationery materials to needy students, financial and medical assistance to the physically challenged individuals to support them to live a quality life. One of our main focused areas is empowering women through forming self-help groups and providing training on manufacturing and selling things like hand wash, paper bags, gift items, jewelry, etc. Apart from this, we also organize sports events for physically challenged cricketers to create an environment where these people can showcase their skills and realize their full potential.
